Glasgow Mathematical Journal

The Glasgow Mathematical Journal publishes original research papers in any branch of pure and applied mathematics.  An international journal, it's policy is to feature a wide variety of research areas, which in recent issues have included ring theory, representation theory, group theory, functional analysis, combinatorics, differential equations, differential geometry, number theory, algebraic topology, and the application of such methods in applied mathematics and mathematical physics.

The Journal is published by Cambridge University Press, which maintains the electronic version of the journal.

The Journal is overseen by the Glasgow Mathematical Journal Trust, a registered charity.  The Trust operates a Learning and Research Support Fund which awards a number of grants for the furtherance of mathematics within Scotland.  Details of how to apply for such a grant may be found here.   The Rankin Lectures 2008 are supported by The Glasgow Mathematical Journal Trust.
