EBEA Annual Conference

From Good to Outstanding

The 2011 EBEA Annual Conference will be held on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th June at the Nottingham Conference Centre.

Programme Features:

  • Business Studies on day one - Economics on day two with relevant Enterprise/EBU during each day in sessions about new curriculum and teaching approaches
  • Keynote - 30 minutes max - then follow up with optional breakouts for 50 minutes - the morning focus is on pedagogy and in the afternoon, on subject knowledge
  • Ofsted, academic and business keynote on day one and Ofsted, academic and journalist on day two
  • Breakouts involve a mixed offer - workshop, thinktank, seminar, question and answer from keynote, networking or debate
  • Engaging with new technologies
  • Sharing Best Practice  e.g. bring a problem - share a solution, ideas for outstanding lessons
  • Exhibitor sessions 9.00 - 9.30 on Wednesday and 8.30 - 9.30 on Thursday, lunchtime and end of the Wednesday (but not Thursday) programme
