Welcome to History of Art

Glasgow is one of the most inspirational and accessible cities for art and design in the UK. Mackintosh's famous School of Art and the civic collections at Kelvingrove and the Burrell Collection are internationally acclaimed. There is a lively contemporary art scene, ranging from festivals like the biennial Glasgow International, galleries such as the Centre for Contemporary Art and artist-run spaces like Transmission.

From 1 August 2010, History of Art will be part of the School of Culture and Creative Arts.
