Major international journal comes to Glasgow
From spring 2010 the leading international journal Gender & History will be edited from the Centre for Gender History at Glasgow University.

- Professor Simon Newman: Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship for 2 years from Septembre 2010 on the labour of the trans-atlantic slave trade
- Ian Isherwood, PhD student in his 2nd year, has been awarded the prestigious General and Mrs Matthew B Ridgway Research Grant for 2010 to conduct research at the U.S. Army Military History Institute (MHI) of the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center (AHEC).
