Welcome to the Glasgow Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies
Glasgow Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies offers an MLitt in Medieval and Renaissance Studies that may be completed during one year of full-time study or two years if pursued part-time. The programme is designed as an interdisciplinary study of a broad range of disciplines and areas of knowledge relating to all aspects and periods of medieval and early modern culture, including but not limited to languages, literatures, history and visual culture. Our teaching draws on the wide range of interests and expertise of over sixty medievalists across disciplines — one of the largest medieval cohorts of any university in the world — and on the important resources of the
University Library, which include world-class manuscript collections, area museums and art galleries, and other resources to be found in the University and
City Galleries and Museums and across Scotland.
