Delyth joined Prof Anna Dominiczak’s group at the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics in 1994, and before that was employed by the MRC Blood Pressure Unit, Western Infirmary, Glasgow. She obtained a degree in Biochemistry and Physiology from South Lancashire University and gained a PhD from the University of Glasgow in 1997. She is currently employed as a Senior Research Assistant funded by the British Heart Foundation. Her main research interests include the identification of genes underlying the complex polygenic diseases, hypertension and metabolic syndrome.
