Master of Primary Care
Entrance requirements
Applicants to the Master of Primary Care programme are required to satisfy the following conditions:
He or she must have obtained a programme in a University or College recognised for this purpose by the Court of the University of Glasgow on the recommendation of the Senatus, or a programme awarded by the Council for National Academic Awards.
or
He or she must have obtained a diploma or certificate recognised as equivalent to a programme for this purpose by the Court of the University of Glasgow on the recommendation of the Senatus.
or
In exceptional circumstances, and only with the approval of the Higher Programmes Committee of the University of Glasgow and the Head of the Section of General Practice and Primary Care, he or she must have obtained other such qualification(s) and/or experience as may be recognised for this purpose by the Court of the University of Glasgow on the recommendation of Senatus.
and
He or she must have fulfilled other such entry requirements as may be specified from time to time.
and
He or she must have satisfied the Senatus of his or her fitness to undertake advanced study.
Accepting your place
Students must confirm acceptance, by letter, of the place offered by the date specified in the offer letter from Medical Faculty. Failure to do so will lead to the offer being withdrawn and the place offered to another candidate.
