Current Research
Our research falls into three broad themes: Seismic Interpretation, Hydro-mechanical Modeling and Fieldwork.
These themes are inter-dependent, digital seismic data will be combined with field observations to develop a conceptual model for the permeability structure of faults in crystalline rocks. Temporal changes in permeability will be assessed via numerical modelling, allowing the simultaneous evolution of seismicity and permeability to be fully characterized.
