Understanding and Communicating Complex Systems
A studentship for the MSc in Inter-Professional Science Education and Communication, jointly offered by EmergeNET and the Faculty of Education of the University of Glasgow.
The scholarship will provide funding on a fees only basis (full time at home/EU or international rates) for a student studying the above programme and whose dissertation project will focus on Understanding and Communicating Complex Systems.

The covering letter should:
- Demonstrate your enthusiasm for the MSc in Inter-Professional Science Education and Communication.
- Explain your interest in the project Understanding and Communicating Complex Systems.
- Describe the key qualities that you would bring to the research project, drawing on previous experience where appropriate.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 19 August 2009. Candidates will be considered on the basis of their full application, including the covering letter and CV. Candidates may also be contacted for a telephone interview during the week beginning 24 August 2009, so please provide a contact telephone number with the application. The selected student will be expected to commence his or her studies on 21 September 2009. A good background in either mathematics or the sciences is likely to be an advantage.
