The Electronics & Electrical Engineering Department at Glasgow is one of the largest in Europe with one of the highest levels of grant income from UK Research Councils and industry.
Our almost 50 academic staff are world leaders in their research fields in specialisms as diverse as nanotechnology, bioelectronics, optoelectronics, ultrafast devices and systems, power electronics, and renewable energy.
We are well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, particularly in nano- and micro-fabrication. We also have a tradition of interdisciplinary research, with UK and international collaborations in physics, medicine, biochemistry, cell biology, mathematics and music.
This means that as a Ph.D. or M.Sc. student, you will
