MEd (Professional Development & Enquiry) Chartered Teacher

Programme

The Chartered Teacher MEd course at the University of Glasgow has been designed to enable successful candidates to demonstrate their achievement of the Standard for Chartered Teacher in a holistic and integrated way, and we look forward to working with candidates in a genuine partnership on this innovative and challenging initiative.

The purpose of this Masters degree programme is to provide experienced teachers with the opportunity to study in depth the processes of teaching and learning that will manifest themselves in successful and sustained evidence based professional action. By the end of this programme participants will be able to engage in informed, sustained and integrated change focused action, based on sound theoretical principles within the context of a community of practice, critical enquiry and evaluation.
