MEd English Language Teaching
Programme
The M Ed (ELT Pathway) is for mid-career professionals in English Language teaching. The programme covers contemporary issues in education and central concerns of English language teaching.
The emphasis is on exploring how theory relates to practice, drawing on students' teaching contexts. As a result, they should be able to take a broader view of how classroom activity is related to teacher training, programme design, and management decisions. In the process, students will become familiar with using ICT as a mode of teaching, learning and researching.
The dissertation provides the opportunity to investigate further an issue that is relevant to the individual's professional development and teaching context.
