Research interests
Economic development, income inequality, colonialism and its economic consequences, macroeconomics and finance.
Background
Luis Angeles joined the department in September 2006. Following his PhD studies in Economics at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and at the Study Center Gerzensee, he held a teaching position at the University of Manchester. During 2008 he undertook consultancy work for the United Nations on the subject of foreign aid. His teaching is in the areas of finance and economic development.
