New Improved Cancer Cell Senescence with a Hint of Autophagy
12.00pm - 5.10pm Tuesday 29th September 2009
The Auditorium, The Beatson Institute for Cancer Research
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss cancer cell senescence as a potential target for cancer therapeutics. In order to achieve this goal, knowledge of sensecence signalling is required as is the development of biomarkers to aid detection and measurement of senescence in human tumours.
The meeting is open to all interested parties and is aimed at postgraduate students, medical students, researchers, clinicians and clinical trainees.
We aim to keep the meeting informal and there will be considerable opportunity for discussion. We would also like to invite you to the buffet to be held before the meeting.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting. Nicol Keith (Chair, School for Cancer Studies)
