How do I apply?

To apply, please contact the University enquiry team

You will need to provide copies of your previous qualifications and a recommendation from someone who knows you well and who is able to comment on your on your potential ability in higher education. If possible the reference should accompany the application form. If this is not possible it should be sent by separate cover. 

Application Deadlines

The application deadline for part-time study in the Colleges of Arts, Science and Engineering, and Social Sciences is 31 July 2013.

What happens next?

If your application is successful and you are accepted to study for a part-time degree, you will be offered a place in writing or by electronic mail.  If you wish to accept the offer you must advise us as soon as possible by return correspondence. We will then arrange for you to meet with an Adviser of Studies to discuss your part–time studies programme.

Entry requirements stated on this website do not necessarily guarantee a place on the particular course. 

For subjects that are popular–Astronomy, Computing Science, Mathematics, Music, Physics, and certain Languages –specific qualifications may apply. 

If your field of interest includes any of these please consult Mrs Linda Knox for Music and Languages or Dr Gordon Curry for science subjects. It is also helpful, if when you fill in your part–time application form, you can indicate the 2 or 3 subject areas you are most interested in studying.
