The venue for The Cultural Value of Oral History Conference is the Western Infirmary Lecture Theatre (WILT) at the University of Glasgow. All the lectures, apart from the public lecture, will take place here. WILT is marked as B9 on the University campus map.

Directions to WILT by foot:

South access is from Dumbarton Road through the Western Infirmary main gate, up the hill and then a turn right behind the hospital. Pass the visitors' entrance on the right.

North access is by footpath on south side of University Place to the west of the main University gate.

East access is from within the University campus by footpath through small iron gate accessed from Dumbarton Way or South Front.

Directions to WILT by taxi:

Ask the driver to enter the Western Infirmary by the Dumbarton Road entrance and drop you in the car park at the rear just past the visitors' entrance. The WILT is the modern blonde sandstone building on the left, on the far side of the car park.

WILT

The WILT is a modern self contained complex containing a 292 seat lecture theatre, a foyer area, which is ideal for catering/exhibits, and two seminar rooms. It is a few minutes away from a variety of cafes, pub, bistros and restaurants.
