The Graduate Skills Programme (GSP) is the College of Social Sciences' employability award. It has been designed to help undergraduate students and postgraduate taught students in the College make the most of their time at university and enhance their transferable and employability skills.

In an increasingly competitive job market leaving university with a good degree may not be enough on its own to land you that first graduate job. GSP will help you to:

  • develop the skills and graduate attributes you need to succeed in your academic studies and your future career
  • market yourself effectively to potential employers through online ePortfolios and effective LinkedIn profiles
  • reflect on the academic, extra-curricular and work-related activities you have been involved in during your time at university and how they have contributed to your development of graduate attributes
  • help you prepare for internship and graduate job interviews and applications

Register with GSP now or find out more about how GSP works through our links above.
