Research has shown that taking on a work placement during your studies can be an excellent way to improve your employability skills and your chances of getting a job once you graduate. At the University of Glasgow there are lots of opportunities for you to get work experience with a whole range of employers. Your School or subject centre may offer work placements as part of your course. Club 21, within the University Careers Service has a range of paid summer placements available to apply for now! You could also have a look at the paid external placement opportunities advertised on the right hand side of this page. For example, the new Third Sector Internships Scotland scheme provides paid placements, up to 10 weeks in length, across Scotland.
