This month is Skills Month!

This month, the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Business Clubs, together with the College of Social Sciences Employability Service, have arranged a very special treat for you. It’s the SKILLS MONTH which will bring you many exciting, interesting and helpful events and workshops to improve your presentation/business/networking skills.

Spanning the whole of February Skills Month includes a variety of talks, workshops and events to cater to students of all types including:

  • A Career Planning Workshop: Wolfson Medical School, Yudowitz Seminar Room. Feb 8th, 1400-1600.
  • Social Media Event: Gilbert Scott Building, Clydesdale Theatre. Feb 9th, 1800-1900.
  • Networking Event with buffet: Wolfson Medical School, Seminar Room 3, Feb 16th, 1800.
  • LinkedIn Presentation: Western Infirmary Lecture Theatre, Feb 24th, 1500-1600.
  • Presentation Skills Lecture: Wolfson Medical Building, Seminar Room 3, Feb 28th, 1800-1900.
  • Marketing Yourself on Paper and Electronically: Boyd Orr, Lecture Theatre 3. Feb 29th, 1400-1600.
  • LinkedIn Workshop: Adam Smith Building, PC Lab M. Mar 1st, 1400-1600.
