Research Opportunities

We offer research opportunities in PhD, MLitt  and MSc Research programmes.  In addition we offer professional doctorates in Education (EdD).

The MRes programmes have been designed to help you on the road to a research career in social sciences.  They will give you the skills to pursue a career in research in the public, private or academic sectors. They also provide ideal training for PhD research, and most are ESRC recognised for 1+3 funding.

We welcome applications from students wishing to pursue research in the areas of strength and interest of its Schools and Centres.
