KTA objectives

The University of Glasgow’s KTA is focussed on exploiting the University's EPSRC funded research portfolios.  The KTA's specific objectives are to:

• Increase the level of EPSRC-related KT activity with appropriate industrial partners.  
• Increase the rate of conversion of EPSRC-related research outputs into successful KT and commercialisation activities.  The KTA provides financial investment to support projects identified through the industrial engagement process. 
• Develop a step-change in KT culture through the provision of enterprise, peer to peer and KT training and CPD modules for industry.

In order to achieve the above objectives the KTA implements a number of mechanisms to address commonly cited barriers to KT and commercialisation.
