We offer doctoral training opportunities to study cutting-edge technologies at the Engineering & Physical Science-to-Life Science interface. These are focused in the fields of

• Cell & Tissue Engineering
• Medical Diagnostics
• Synthetic Biology
• Bionanotechnology
• Biophotonics.  

Successful applicants will be awarded a 4-year studentship. You will complete an MRes in the first year before continuing with PhD studies in a chosen field for three years.
