The mission of Functional Genomics and Systems Medicine is to provide post-genomic technologies to the widest possible community. Functional Genomics and Systems Medicine, a multidisciplinary grouping of researcher from across the College of Medical & Life Sciences, offers integrated genomic, proteomic, metabolomic and bioinformatic workflows. Laboratories are equiped with cutting edge instrumentation and are staffed by researchers who have extensive expertise in these rapidly developing fields.
Facilities are managed to ensure recovery of full economic costs and to provide an efficient service to researchers in both academic and commercial environments. Within these constraints, we are keen to collaborate on the development of new approaches in all relevant areas.
