PhD Internships in Classics for Session 2013-14

The School of Humanities is offering 3 PhD Internships in Classics for session 2013-14. Applications will be accepted in any area of the study of Classical antiquity or its reception but preference may be given to those applications which demonstrate a fit with the subject area's research priorities.

The internships are open to Overseas, EU, and UK students, but fees will only be funded at the Home/EU rate.

Successful applicants will be required to provide up to three hours teaching or administration per week within the subject area.

What is the value of the Internship?
The internship offers an annual stipend of £7K, plus tuition fees at the Home/EU rate, for three years.

Application procedure and deadlines
Applicants should complete the College Scholarship application form. In order to be considered, applicants must have been offered a place on a PhD programme in Classics. The deadline for funding applications is 1 March 2013 but, in order to ensure that you have been accepted to a programme by then, your application for postgraduate study must be submitted by 10 February 2013.
