China Scholarship Council (CSC)

This scholarship programme, which is overseen by China Scholarship Council (affiliated to the Chinese Ministry of Education), was approved in early 2007 and funds Chinese university students to study overseas for a PhD degree. The aim of the programme is to sponsor first-class Chinese students to study for PhD study, in primarily science and technology fields, at first-class universities overseas.

The College of Arts has ONE full scholarship to offer for session 2013-14.

Please note: In the event that the College receives more than one confirmation from applicants in receipt of the CSC scholarship, a selection committee will decide to whom the Scholarship should be offered.

Deadline: The competiton will run from Wednesday, 20 March to Friday, 5 April inclusive.
