News and Events: 4 November 2010: Talk by Seb of Dub'n'Grub, 5pm, followed by Dub'n'Grub, at The 78. 3, 10, 17, 24 November 2010:
Weekly drop-ins continue, Wednesdays, 2.00pm.
We meet in the food area of the HUB and take one of the big wooden
tables next to the windows which are at the right hand side of the
room as you walk in. These 'drop-in' meets are simply for any member
to drop by for a chat about anything! We can offer advice and answer
any questions you might have at these meet ups, and we also discuss
and organise fundraising ideas and dinners etc. at them. 1 November 2010: World Vegan Day dinner, Mono (50% off all dishes for WVD), 7pm. ... 18 March 2010: Vegan stall in Global Village, QMU. 8 March 2010: Dinner at Stereo. 4, 11, 18, 25 March 2010:

2007: Students living at Wolfson Hall of residence
approached the catering
manager this month requesting that vegan food be served.
In response the vegetarian option is sometimes vegan but, when it is
not, staff are cooking vegan meals for those who request it. There also
seems to be more vegan condiments available such as soya milk and
suitable margarine. We are delighted and would like to see further

A vegan menu is on offer. November 2006: The John
McIntyre cafe now offers a range of sandwiches suitable for vegans.
This great result follows from dialogue that we have had with the
catering staff. Please support the cafe and inform them that you are
there because of their vegan provision. Wednesday
