COMMITTEE 2011/2012

If you've got questions, suggestions or general wonderings, these are the people to get in touch with.

Captain

Stuart Campbell

captain-trampoline@gusa.gla.ac.uk
The Captain is the leader of the pack! They are responsible for the conduct between the club and GUSA/other trampoline clubs/competition organisers. They also coordinate the rest of the committee and make important club decisions. It's a rewarding job but a lot of hard work!

Secretary

Kate Hulse

secretary-trampoline@gusa.gla.ac.uk
The Secretary is the key administration officer in the club. Their responsibilities involve (to name a few) dealing with club correspondence, managing fixture, travel and facility requests, managing membership, and managing meeting structure and minutes. They're in charge of meeting deadlines and have a great deal of responsibility in the club.

Treasurer

Vicky Judge

treasurer-trampoline@gusa.gla.ac.uk
The treasurer is in charge of the club's money, be it the accounts, cheques or debt. Again, they are an intergral part of the club and hold a lot of responsibility.

Kit Officer

Lucy Hawthorn

The kit officer is responsible for the trampolining kit being taken to and from every competition and to wash the kit too! It is also the job of the kit officer to organise the supply of hoodies, tracksuits, t-shirts, head bands, etc to any club members who want them. It is important that we can identify the club when we are at competitions.

Social Sec

Jon Orton

Social Secretary is probably the most fun position on the committee. They are in charge of organising all of the trampoline club socials for the year, including the Freshers social, Christmas Dinner, the Annual Pub Quiz and Barbecue, and as many weird and wonderful nights out as you can get in inbetween competitions, essays and exams. The Social is also in charge of organising our sponsorship.

Publicity

Robyn Cuthbertson

Publicity is mainly in charge of the clubs website, but they are also able to edit the Facebook and Twitter pages. It also involves promoting the club especially through freshers week where they work with the kit officer and the secretary to help design our freshers week helper t-shirts and the flyers.

OM

Ben Searle

OM

Stephen Hambleton

OM

Michael Fenton

There are three ordinary members on the committee. There are no specific jobs for ordinary members, but they are there to help the captain, treasurer and secretary fulfill all their jobs, be it booking accommodation or flights on behalf of the club, or assisting in other matters.

If you wish to join the club or come along for a session to try it out, just drop one of us an email and your request will be dealt with as soon as possible. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

About Us

The Glasgow University Trampoline Club is a friendly, welcoming club, with a successful history in competitions and also a strong social aspect.

The club caters for those of all abilities, so whether you're a beginner or more experienced bouncer you're welcome to come along. Our fully qualified coaches strive to develop the members to their full potential, providing a safe and effective environment for our gymnasts.

There are four Scottish League Competitions (SUS) every year. Recent years have seen the club pick up a number of medals, and we have also collected several GUSA awards.

Alongside competing, GUTC has plenty time for nights out and we hold many events throughout the year including Ceilidhs, Pub Quizzes and BBQs. Not to mention fun filled weekends away to competitions!

If you would like more information please contact our secretary, whos details can be found on the Committee page!
