Applications for SVA projects 2012 are now
CLOSED!
If you are selected to volunteer on one of our projects
this year your country co-ordinators will be in touch to let you know.
Unsuccessful applicants will also be informed to ensure that you are not
left wondering. Please note that you will only receive contact from your
second choice in the event that they decide they would like you to
volunteer with them instead of your first choice. In this instance you will
obviously not hear anything from your first choice.
For the Future
Application Forms
The
application form for our summer 2013 projects will be accessible via the
link on the right when applications are opened in October 2012. Information
on how to submit them will also be available at this time. The deadline for
applications is usually around the third Friday in November.
Information Evenings
In early
November we hold information evenings in order to give you a little bit
more information about our projects and answer any questions you may have.
These evenings are really useful and we encourage you to try and attend one
of them. However, it is not compulsory that you attend in order to apply so
don’t worry if you can’t make it.
Selection Days/Interviews
After the applications have been reviewed, successful applicants
will be invited to attend a selection day and interview which usually takes
place over the last weekend of November. The
selection days consist of talks with your preferred project co-ordinators
and group activities in the morning, followed by interviews with the
project co-ordinators in the afternoon.
Please note
that we try our hardest to offer an interview to every applicant but in
some cases this is not possible due to the high demand placed on some
projects.
