Student Volunteers Abroad
We’re a student run, not-for-profit organisation based
out of Glasgow University. We send teams of volunteers abroad to various
countries. The links on the right show you which places we go to or if you
go to the projects link on the top bar you can look for projects based on
what they do.
Our projects are varied and range from HIV/AIDS
awareness, to teaching, to construction, to raising awareness of
environmental issues.
Our aims are as follows:
- to work with
local organisations on sustainable projects for the relief of poverty
- to promote
awareness and education amongst students of the social and
environmental issues that affect the developing world
- to promote
cultural links and encourage cultural exchange
We hope that you find a project here that you would
consider joining.
