Glasgow University had much to celebrate after returning from the Willie Thorne Snooker Centre, Leicester, as
British Universities Champions and now number 1 seeds in the event after 3 very good years. Not only this, but
Glasgow's own Raymond 'Stingray' Li won the Individual Championship- the first time this has ever been achieved
by a Glasgow player.
Not only this though, the Junior Team excelled in bringing back to Glasgow 6 Bronze medals after
an amazing performance in the team event and the promising Colin Ferguson reached the semi's in the Junior
Individual Championships.
All in all, 6 gold medals, 6 bronze medals and 2 trophies were brought back and a good time
was had by all. Not bad guys!
