Welcome to the Italian Society
Home Page!
Benvenuti! We are
a student-run society at the University of Glasgow. Our members study Italian
or share our interest in Italian culture. We also welcome Italian students
studying in Scotland. We meet for informal nights out and organised events.
We aim to foster Scottish-Italian links, sharing language, cinema, food, drink
… Past events have
included a cocktail night and film nights. The list is short, but we are a
new society (with big plans for the future). We hope to organise a Milan
Fashion Week party, calcio Italia nights, talks, food and wine tasting, and a
masked ball for the Venice Carnivale (2005). Contact us at:

Noi
siamo un club di studenti all’Università di Glasgow interessati allo studio
della lingua e della cultura italiana. Diamo il benvenuto agli studenti
italiani che studiano in Scozia e vorremmo organizzare incontri seriali per
uno scambio culturale, condividendo linguaggio, cinema, cibo e bevande. In
passato, abbiamo organizzato feste serali e preso visione di film italiani. Noi
siamo una nuova società con grandi progetti per il futuro. Speriamo di
organizzare una festa durante la settimana del fashion a Milano, condividere
partite di calcio e assaggi di cibi e vini e tenere delle conferenze. Per
concludere, vorremmo organizzare un ballo mascherato per il Carnivale di
Venezia (2005). Per
