Hello, and welcome! This is the Glasgow University Hockey Club (GUHC) Web site. The club invites all freshers and current students to join one of the friendliest clubs at the university. The club is renowned for its social atmosphere, and a range of playing experiences has always been an enduring characteristic of the club.

The clubs (Mens and Womens) fields a total of six teams on a Saturday in various Leagues, Mens and Womens Wednesday teams who compete in Inter-varsity games, and indoor teams - the only University to do so in Scotland.

Hockey at Glasgow caters for the personal, social, academic and sporting development of all our players. The team spirit and camaraderie within the club is better than any you will ever experience. Students attend lectures together, live together, train together, and play together. Friendships made through the club will be some of the best friends you will ever have.
If you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit, join our club. To discover what this has to do with hockey, along with an introduction to Zip-Boing-Bounce, and regular scoring opportunities......... come and join the most friendly (ask our ladies team), yet competitive club at Glasgow Uni.
