(photos courtesy of Mrs Sue Beatt) Gents Opening Day - 2008 Visitors are invited from some other clubs. Ladies Opening Day - 2004 Visitors are invited from some other clubs. Our Bowling Green We have one green with 5-6 rinks available. Aboyne Bowling Club We travel to Aboyne every two years and they come to visit us each other year. The last trip was Saturday 27 May 8.30 am to Sunday 28 May 2003. They came to visit us last year and, as we won, they went a away with the wooden spoon. This year we got it back. Spanish Trips Some of the lads travel to Mijas, Feungerola in the south of Spain each year. Indoor Bowling during the Winter Months We go to the Whiteinch Indoor Bowling club once a month during the winter to keep in practice. Presentation of Prizes Trophies are awarded for the various competitions and then everyone gets a drink out of each of the cups. Therefore it was another excuse for a party. 25th November 2000.
