Correspondence

  • Robbie sent us an e-mail. Do we want him to organise anniversary celebrations in the US.
  • We received some spam e-mail about search engine presence. Ewan sent an hilarious reply, now featured on the website.
  • Marie Curie would like us to sing in the Buchanan Galleries again at Christmas.
  • We have received a reply to our letter to the QM...

Xmas Concert

There are no Guides this year. We are sandwiched between the Glasgow Senior Citizens Chorus (20 mins) and a "gospel flavoured" choir called Take Note. There is no free wine or mince pies for the audience, but we’re sorted. Doors open 6.15pm. We’ve got the programme back page again. We can flier seats again.

Spring Show

David is coming later with the poster design. We’ll put a poster design on the website again. Let’s write to the Pantheon and tell them we enjoyed Best Little Whorehouse so that they come and see us.

AOCB

  • STAG ceilidh not happening. We’ll go to the Renfrew Ferry. Apparently it would be silly to have our St Andrew’s Day ceilidh on St Andrews’ Day...
  • Stars in Their Eyes is on the 13th December
  • We should organise a booking sheet for the Western Court meeting room.
  • The anniversary meeting will be in Western Court. The subcommittee comprises: Ian, Nicky, Ewan, Tony, Gregor, JP and Andrea.
  • At this point, david arrived with the poster. Ooooh! Aaaah! The design will go to Clydeside Press on Monday.
