Commitee Meeting Minutes
Cecilian Society Committee Meeting, 25/10/01, QM

Meeting Opened at 6.07pm
Correspondence
- JP and Nicky are meeting Linzi davidson on the 6th
- Nicky has faxed Makro the details of who should have the cards. She would have done it earlier but the
university went on fire.
- Ali suggested trying to get people to sponsor a performance of the show.
- We have a contract from Curlers. They are going to give us another £1000, probably before Christmas. The
Discount Cards should be ready by tomorrow,
- Poster will cost £260 at Impac and £320 at Clydeside. Clydeside are usually more reliable.
- We now have the postcard Tony sent from America during the summer.
- We sent a letter to the QM, complaining about their room booking system.
- We can't have the 50th anniversary meeting in the Qm. We'll try for Western Court or the Williams Room.
- We've told Anker we don't want him to come.
- We need to affiliate to the SRC by 4pm tomorrow.
- JP has e-mailed estates and buildings about storage. Again.
How to Succeed
Everyone agreed that the group/dialogue audition format was much better and more relaxed than previous years
and that the panel was very friendly. There should perhaps be a longer gap before the callbacks, though. Huge
thanks to David and Jonathan for emergency piano playing. We now have an accompanist by the name of Hazel
Reid. Sarah will meet with Laura to sort ticket management, and has also volunteered to organise tickets for
show outings.
Christmas Concert
...is coming along nicely. David will play.

- Tony has lent stuff to the Theatre Guild, including black felt. We don't particularly mind, but would like to
know these things before they happen.
- We should sell the remaining Grease T-shirts.
