Last Week’s Minutes
Proposed: Emma
Seconded: Julie

Correspondence
A rejection letter from Peckhams for Emma. They don’t want to give us things for the Back to the 80s raffle.

Membership
New student membership is £3.

Matt is not happy with non-students being made to pay £10, just to do one show. He wants to reduce fee to £5.

Ben points out that he doesn’t thinks it’s fair to be made to pay £15 extra to do Oklahoma!

It is agreed to keep the membership fees as was previously discussed.

Venue
Lorna got hung up on when enquiring about 2008 dates at the Mitchell, because she did not have exact dates. There is no other information on the Oklahoma! Booking.

Publicity
GUST want to film the show. They cannot because it would be in violation of the rights agreement with Josef Weinberger.

Amanda and Andy are getting the Back to the 80s t-shirts on Friday.

STAG Breast Cancer Fundraiser
STAG have asked us to contribute to their breast cancer fund-raiser. They have asked us if we could fill a 15 minute slot. Everyone agrees that this is a good idea, but we would need to find an MD for rehearsals. An email should be sent round to try and find one.

Back to the 80s

Two members of the committee will be downstairs to welcome and direct freshers to the right place. The committee auditions will be last so that everyone is here to tidy up.

The TV room is out of bounds on Saturday and Sunday as other societies are in there.

Julie will be responsible for the Food Factory.

The QM are not going to clean Qudos on Sunday morning so the tech crew should get in fairly early.

The QM have given us guest passes for their club nights as they meesed up our original booking. We will use them to get into Cheesy Pop on the pub crawl. Emma will check to see if we can use them in the Raffle, but we probably can’t. We’d rather have all the passes for cheesy, can we exchange them?

Aimée Toshney can sell raffle tickets, as part of Front-of-House. Ben would like to get the audience in as quickly as possible.

Stores
Neil has keys.

Tech have everything they need.

Oklahoma!
Andy can do the photocopying, if it is given to him bit by bit.

Lorna would like Committee Room 1 booked for the audition on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October, and block booking for Com Room 1 7-10pm on Thursdays.

The budget meeting will be held on the 15th October either in the Catholic Chaplaincy or the QM.

AOCB
Rob would like to restart and run Choir-for-Hire on an audition only basis. This sounds good.

Ben had been pissing every 10 minutes for three hours, even though he’s only had one can of Irn-Bru.

Three girls are coming from Clydebank College to do the make-up for the show. They ask that people bring their own make-up.

Ben asks that everyone on committee be helpful; shush people in rehearsals and be runners for the production team.

Martin Menzies may not be able to make the show to do hair, so people will have to do their own.
