Commitee Meeting Minutes
Minutes Cecilian Society Committee Meeting 13-11-03
Present: Ali, Cate, Becky, Edward, Lucy, Ben, Eliza, Laura Ewan (who was late)
Apologies: Tony, JP, Kathryn
Correspondence
- Tony emailed to make sure he gets the minutes
- Music club concert was discussed by the committee in a previous meeting and we
agreed to do it.
- Cate will check the dates with Jo Odds and we will have a rehearsal the day before.
Matters arising
- T-shirts Kathryn is not here
- Ali will talk to her.
- Door Staff for ceilidh, the executive will do 15 minutes each alongside STAG
exec.
- Ben will speak to Jo Odds about selling tickets to the music club.
- Edward has already spoken to LGBT about plugging it and GUST are going to
come too.
- Cleaning office – we will bin anything that is not music/minutes. Nicky and
Cate will make sure it is left tidy after tonight, so that Edward and Laura can
Hoover – Ali will drop off the Hoover tomorrow. EWAN ENTERS and
promptly informs us that himself and Nicky have already tidied and hovered –
thanks go to them, the intelligent beings have also bought bin-liners!!
Guys and Dolls auditions.
- Ewan will take note of who will supervise what times – Lucy is already doing 9.30-11.30 on sat and 7pm onwards on Sunday.
Lucy will talk to Mr Mac again about rehearsing in the food factory from 2pm.
Show week social
- Ben has received two emails from Tony and JP, concerning
this matter informing him that the show will finish just after 9pm. JP suggested
restaurant instead of curry night but we agree in the meeting that a take away on the
Friday night is more managable and more chilling than going to cheesy (as tony
suggested) as it is the matinee the next day. We suggested however that perhaps
instead of curry night Chinese night might be an option! (ali may offer his flat!)
- Thursday night – Laura will find out from Jen about the deal we had with Jumping
Jaks last year as it was Wicked!!! (excuse the 80s terminology there!)
- Wednesday night will still be the tech crew party – Cate has offered her flat if she can
get her flatmates to agree and she will also ask the tech crew.
- Saturday night – Edward will ask his flatmates about using his flat for party.
Xmas social
- Tony suggested good old stars in their eyes, JP suggests with an 80s
theme. Curlers has been booked for Thursday 18th so we don't have to worry about
that. There is a toss up in the committee as to 'Stars in their eyes' and 'moments from
the musicals'. 'Moments' wins by a deciding vote as there were more abstentions than
votes!
- Ben is still waiting to hear from channel four regarding the date for top 100 musicals-
Curlers will have us to watch if we can do it on a Sunday.
- Edward just left to make TV.
Publicity
- OOTI stuff has arrived – woohoo!there is no extra charge for
adjustments to art work, so we are going to give Ronny a free advert.
- We will take Programme pictures on Sunday. We need the programme to be sent off for printing
before the start of December. Eliza will help Kathryn. Laura will email the
Pantheon etc. Which reminds us that Tony needs £60 for the theatre guild advert.
(Graeme)
AOCB
- There still needs to be shushing in rehearsals.
Pictures need to go on the Web before Christmas (Eliza and Ewan)
