Commitee Meeting Minutes
Minutes Cecilian Society Committee Meeting 10/10/02
Apologies: Nadia, Ali, Liam.
Everyone else was there for at least some of the meeting.
Meeting opened – 6.12pm.
1 Not whorehouse but urgent
- Cate is still offering her flat for the Halloween party. The date has not yet been fixed for it.
- 156 members signed up at the Freshers Fayre. Yay.
- Ceilidh – Chris had emailed other groups about it. The band has been provisionally booked for the 26th November. It will cost us £350. We still need to decide how we are going to split the costs with other groups, if at all. The band needs to know whether the PA system in Qudos can be used.
- Tony is to phone people about the piano. (Have to admit I’m not quite sure what he has to phone them about though – I expect it’s tuning).
2 Whorehouse
The publicity has not yet been paid for. They don’t seem bothered so we will wait next week, after the show is over to sort it out.
Tech is fine – the set is ready to be made and they are currently £150 under budget. Libby gave Tony a receipt for the wood. He or Nadia can give her a cheque or money back. Costumes are going fine – Liam has everything organised. Refreshments are also organised. Nicola is doing the camera for the weekend.
Sound equipment is arriving on Sunday morning. Barry McKillop hired us a follow and fixed spot. It will cost us £35, and he will organise them for us. We may need Ewan to help with the lights.
