UMBSM has a well stocked research and teaching library housed in the Sheina Marshall Room, which is well used by resident and visiting researchers and students.

Course leaders can arrange to borrow material to use in the UMBSM classrooms. The librarian can suggest useful titles depending on the intended course content and these can be issued and boxed up before the group’s arrival. The library holds multiple copies of many titles so that students may have access to the most popular books, even when demand is great.

All visiting scientists and students are welcome to make full use of the library. The librarian, Kathryn Stevenson, is available to assist and any special requests can be made to her in advance.
