The Innovation Network team have a wealth of experience of working in and with industry, partnering with companies to provide advice and guidance in a number of commercial areas.
The Innovation Network could help you free of charge with advice and guidance in the following areas:
- Identification of potential funding routes to enable you to take your technology or development to the next stage.
- Advice on the construction and required format of commercial and technical proposals in response to specific calls from funding bodies, government agencies and commercial entities including specific invitations to tender.
- Advice on the proposal submission process including completion of customer pre-qualification questionnaires and how to register interest on possible future requirements as required.
- Preparation of compliancy matrixes for commercial and technical proposals.
- Review of the terms and conditions of contract applicable to each funding proposal / tender and recommendations on the wording to be included in the proposal as required.
- Development of an appropriate price basis (Rough Order of Magnitude (RoM), Budgetary, Firm, Fixed) for the proposal including price build up covering such areas as labour, overheads, materials, expenses, escalation, risk provisions and profit.
- Preparation of milestone payment plan values, descriptions and acceptance criteria.
- Response to queries arising from proposal submission.
- Negotiations with customers up to contract award.
- Any contractual issues that arise throughout the course of the programme.
- Recommendations on resolution of disputes with customers.
- Customer price audits for non competitive tenders/ post contract completion.
- Wording of confidentiality, teaming, collaboration, software licence and intellectual property rights agreements.
