Electronics and Electrical Engineering has a range of facilities and services available to external organisations.
Kelvin Nanotechnology Ltd was created in 1997 to facilitate the commercialisation of the world-class technology and expertise in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the University of Glasgow.
The recently launched Glasgow Electronics Design Centre exists:
- to provide fundamental research into electronics design.
- to educate future designers and researchers.
- to improve the linkage between design and implementation in the UK university sector.
- to integrate nanotechnologies with microelectronic platforms.
- to "invent" new multi-scale, multi-technologies.
