BHF Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre (GCRC)

Welcome to the BHF Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre.

The aim of the Centre is to consolidate  internationally recognised cardiovascular research groups and to provide a multidisciplinary research environment. The Centre is comprised of the following research groups:

• BHF Cardiovascular Research Group
• MRC Cardiovascular Research Group
• BHF Cardiac and Imaging Group 
• Heart Failure and Pharmacology Group
• CVS & Renal Failure Group
• Metabolic Medicine Group 

The completion of the BHF GCRC along with its link to the Glasgow Biomedical Research Centre and Wolfson Medical School completes the University of Glasgow's triangle of excellence and contributes to ensuring the future strategic competitiveness of University of Glasgow as an international centre of excellence.
