Supporting the next generation: Postgraduate Research Scholarships
Building upon the world-changing achievements of figures such as Adam Smith, our work in the College of Social Sciences informs policy, addressing issues of both local and global concern. We work on areas that affect us and our communities such as crime and justice, inequalities, identity and social change, governance and the state, human rights, urban health, and financial and business history. We also have major centres focussing on Chinese Studies and Central and Eastern European Studies.
Our new postgraduate research scholarship scheme will enable us to develop thought and inform policy in key areas and help us to develop the graduates and leading minds that can help make a difference to the world we live in.
