Alumni and guests are invited to attend the above event in celebration of the signing of a collaborative agreement between the University, the Smithsonian Institution and George Mason University. Since 1996 the Smithsonian has been training future leaders in the field of decorative arts through its MA program in the History of Decorative Arts . The University’s association with the Smithsonian-Mason program will foster mutual study abroad opportunities, staff exchanges, and museum internship placements, both in Glasgow and Washington.

We are delighted to offer Glasgow alumni the special rate of $15 per person ($5 off the member rate) which includes entry to the lecture followed by drinks and canapés at the reception.

Please follow the guidelines below to purchase your tickets.

  • Once on the login page, enter your established login and password AND be sure to put the promotion code in the bottom text box field before clicking on the “login” button.

For those without a ResidentAssociates.org web account:

  • Go to the register page on the RAP site: www.residentassociates.org/register
  • Once on the register page, provide your own name, email, and login and password for the website AND then the bottom text box field will allow you to enter the promo code before clicking the “register” button

Once logged in, guests are required to find the Chinese Porcelain program on the website.  Enter ‘Propaganda in Porcelain’ in the word search, the Quick Tix Code or find it in the Art & Architecture topic index on the left hand side of the page.

Once the webpage is located for the program, a ‘Promotion Price’ type will be viewable to select in the ticket pricing box at the upper right side of the page.
