Is Summer School for me?

Any S5 or S6 student attending a FOCUS West school is entitled to participate in the Summer School.  Students resident in postcode sectors listed by the Scottish Funding Council as areas upon which universities must concentrate their widening participation activities are also guaranteed a place at Summer School. 

The Recruitment and International Office may recommend attendance at the Summer School as part of a conditional offer. However, students going to any university will benefit from attendance. This includes adults who have been studying at school and further education college. Please note, however, that a good performance at Summer School is not a guarantee of entry to your course of choice unless it is part of your UCAS offer.
