Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre is situated within the Main building of the University, where our friendly, knowledgeable staff, are here to help you with queries, directions and information on the University as well as running a well stocked gift shop for you to explore.

The shop stocks a diverse range including Official University of Glasgow clothing, gifts and memorabilia, CD’s, confectionary, Made In Scotland gifts from jewellery to handbags, candles to soaps plus seasonal gifts and treats, so whether it’s that last minute birthday card or something a little different for that someone special your sure to find the right purchase here.

Shopping

The online University of Glasgow shop has items for sale from the Visitor Centre and Hunterian Art Gallery Shop. We can send these items to any destination in the world, and even offer free postage if your order exceeds a certain value.

Hunterian Art Gallery shop

The Hunterian Art Gallery shop provides a range of gifts and cards inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his Contemporaries, ranging from posters and prints to scarves and designer jewellery as well as a unique range of items from current exhibitions and Scottish artists and designers.

All purchases can be gift wrapped for your convenience.

University tartan & kilts

The University of Glasgow has developed its own tartan, based on the colours in the coat of arms. These popular tartan products are available exclusively from the University Visitor Centre and the website. The range includes lambs woollen scarves, hats, ties, bow ties.
