Open Day Tours
During our October Open Day we will be offering a variety of tours of University services, student accommodation & the city of Glasgow.
All tours are free of charge, and you do not need to book in advance to take part!
Campus Tours
You can seek directions and have a chat with our Student Ambassadors at any point during your visit but why not take a 30 minute guided tour with them to look around the beautiful campus? Tours start every hour and half hour from 9.00am to 2.30pm at the campus tour departure point at the Memorial Gate (M1).
Student Accommodation Tours
As part of the October Open Day we will be offering tours to Student Accommodation.
Tours to Student Accommodation will run frequently throughout the day. Tours begin at 9.30am, with the last tour departing at 2.15pm. These tours will be approx. 1 hour in duration which includes travelling time; you do not require a ticket to attend these tours.

Free City Bus Tours
Glasgow is a great city and there’s lots to see and do. If your time in the city is limited why not take a special Open Day free City Bus Tour, a great way to see some of Glasgow’s stunning architecture and to get your bearings. Buses depart from beside the Main Gate (A22). The first tour leaves at 9.00am and then every half hour. Tours last 45 minutes and will return visitors to the Main Gate.
Sport & Recreation Tours
The Stevenson Building (E6), or ‘Stevie’, provides excellent facilities including 25m swimming pool, sauna and steam room, fitness suite, squash courts, strength and cardio suites, exercise studio and activity hall. Please come and have a look around and chat to staff at any-time between 10.00am and 3.00pm.
Library Tours
Have a look around all, or some, of the Library’s thirteen floors of books, study space, I.T support and other resources. Self-guided tours are available throughout the day.
