Staff opportunities

The University of Glasgow’s Internationalisation Strategy conveys our commitment to support staff and recognises the importance of international experiences, such as staff exchanges, sabbaticals, fellowships and involvement in collaborative research and teaching internationally.

Support available to assist staff engage in international activities: 

International Partnership Development Fund (IPDF) The fund supports staff wanting to develop international partnerships and provides support for collaborative programme development and other partnership opportunities.  
University of Glasgow's Staff Mobility Programme This is an exciting opportunity for any member of staff at the University to enhance their personal and professional outlook by visiting a partner or other institution overseas. There are also Glasgow/Columbia fund (Post-docs) and U21 staff opportunities.  

Erasmus Staff Mobility
Teaching / Training

Funding for all staff for a period of teaching or training in a partner Erasmus HEI or enterprise in a participating country in 2013/14  
Internationalisation SharePoint pages (GUID needed) A resource for staff which includes University strategies, international events to support staff and travel information, TNE updates, Student Barometer results and market intelligence. It also highlights events/news for staff.  
International events The university organises events to support staff travelling overseas and to share international expertise. Including: Staff Development Services: Internationalisation courses and resources; Global Regional Activity Briefings (GRAB lunches); Internationalisation Conference
