In 2011, students represented the University of Glasgow at events in China, Malaysia and Dublin. In 2012, the U21 events will be held in July at Waseda University, Japan and Tecnólogico de Monterrey, Mexico.
Our networks
We are proud to be members of two major international networks: (U21) and the International Research Universities Network (IRUN). These networks allow us to follow education projects larger than any one university could manage alone and offer a framework for international collaborations between members.

U21 staff opportunities
Early career researcher workshops enable staff from U21 Universities to share expertise. In December 2012 up to five researchers will attend the ECR workshop at Shanghai Tong University in China to discuss the topic of ecological design. For more information contact Sarah.Ward@glasgow.ac.uk.

IRUN
Glasgow is a member of the International Research Universities Network (IRUN), a European network of broad-based research universities.
There are opportunities for both staff and students to take part in the work of the U21 network.
