Global Regional Activity Briefing (GRAB) Lunches
The GRAB lunches are a new series of monthly lunchtime regional briefings on international partnership and recruitment activity .
The GRAB events are informal working lunches for all University staff. Each will include a brief presentation followed by an opportunity to ask questions and meet with other staff working in the area.
- Welcome from RIO's Deputy Director (International Affairs)
- The region's International Dean will briefly set out key priorities and existing activity for the region
- Senior International Officer expands on specific opportunities in the region (partnership development, mobility opportunities, funding opportunities, research applications) and takes questions
- Chance to meet with International Dean and RIO staff to ask questions

This GRAB lunch is designed to update staff on UoG activity Eurasia and South Asia. It is for any member of staff with an interest in the region, professional or cultural, and be it for partnership development, scoping potential research possibilities, or general interest in what UoG is doing in the region.
The GRAB lunch (food will be provided) will include:
- an overview of opportunities and UoG activity in Eurasia and South Asia;
- a chance to meet with staff with experience working in the region, including Professor Vivienne Baumfeld, the International Dean for the region,
- opportunities to discuss your work / interest in the region and ideas you might have for developing UoGs presence there.
